Student Experiences

This page lists the simulations available to student groups in further detail. Please note that not all locations feature all simulations, as shown below.

Constitutional Crisis

This is the original crisis scenario developed for the Situation Room Experience.

In this simulation, participants form teams and assume the roles of the President’s Cabinet in order to manage a modern constitutional crisis while their colleagues take on the parts of key news media members scrambling to cover the story as it unfolds before them.

Participants must work together in this high stakes environment to examine a multitude of critical sources and make important decisions about developing events.

This award-winning 21st century educational experience is aligned with national and state standards for high school.

Constitutional Crisis is available in Simi Valley, CA.

Additional players represent Native American leaders, European ambassadors, or members of the hyper-partisan early American press.

California Wildfires

Set in Southern California, this simulation is the third and most recent installment developed for the Situation Room Experience.

In this scenario, a wide variety of roles are challenged by a common foe - a raging wildfire. Threatening homes, businesses, and lives of SoCal residents, characters range from Fire Chief of LA County, Red Cross Animal Shelter Lead, to the Agoura HOA President. With up to 60 roles to fill, this simulation is by far the largest ever produced at the Reagan Library.
